No fewer than 10 companies in succession carried the Postala trademark. It was finally discontinued after its transfer to the Telda factory in the late 1950s.
André Eigeldinger created one of the first factories in La Chaux-de-Fonds to focus exclusively on wristwatches. But lacking a strong brand, the company disappeared in 1963.
This American-Swiss manufacturer from the very early 20th century produced high quality watches, and created the Avia brand, taken over much later by Degoumois & Cie.
