Manufacture d'Horlogerie Etna took the rather successful gamble of producing simple watches in Geneva, the city of luxury watches. The company disappeared with the quartz crisis.
This American-Swiss manufacturer from the very early 20th century produced high quality watches, and created the Avia brand, taken over much later by Degoumois & Cie.
Precisosa watches were one of the many companies in Biel specializing in ladies' watches at the beginning of the 20th century. The company was later absorbed by SILVANA.
