History of the brands
Throughout its history, this beautiful manufacturer in La Chaux-de-Fonds has created remarkable models with astonishing creativity. Long managed by the Didisheim family, it is now part of a Chinese group based in Hong Kong.
This La Chaux-de-Fonds factory produced some highly original watches in the early 20th century. It disappeared with the Great Depression of the 1930s.
Achille Hirsch and his numerous descendants created multiple businesses in La Chaux-de-Fonds. The Vigilant Watch Manufactory was intended to produce economy watches and was one of the first Swiss factories to make wristwatches in 1900. It ceased to exist in the 1930s.
This La Chaux-de-Fonds factory has had an eventful history, and was one of the many victims of the "quartz crisis" a century after its creation.
