This small generalist manufacturer based in La Heutte, near Biel, produced a few remarkable models, particularly 8-day calendar watches, but disappeared at the beginning of the 21st century.
Roamer was one of Switzerland's most important watch manufacturers in the 1930s-1950s. It simplified the work of watchmakers with its keyless water-resistant watches. The 1970s and the quartz crisis hit it hard, but the brand was revived and still exists today.
Officially founded in 1923, Fabrique d'Horlogerie Buttes Watch, which specializes in chronographs, actually dates back to the 19th century.
