Officially, Festina was founded in La Chaux-de-Fonds in 1902. In fact, the factory had already been in operation since 1895, and it was the Festina trademark that was registered in 1902.
The factory was first managed by the Stüdi family, then by the Wilhelm family, and finally by the Ulmann family!
It was eventually acquired by the Spanish group Festina SA, which still manages it today.
