Officially founded in 1900, the Gunzinger brothers' Technos factory employed over 450 people in the 1950s, and was renowned for the sturdiness of its watches.

The company fell on hard times during the "quartz years", but still exists in South America.

Its history can be found here.

Before the 1960s, with the exception of the Atomium, Technos watches had no model name.

That all changed in 1963 with the arrival of the Star Chief model.

The main Technos watch models can be found here.
