After its founding in St. Petersburg and the opening of a branch in Le Locle to offer fine watches to the Russian nobility, the Paul Buhré watchmaking company was devastated by the Bolshevik Revolution.

Taken over by Barbezat-Bôle, the Le Locle factory specialized in precision timepieces, then in more classic wristwatches.

It ceased to exist upon its integration into Zenith International.

Its history can be found here.
