The true story of ARSA and Unitas

One of Tramelan's leading personalities, Auguste Reymond not only created the watch factory that bears his name, but was also involved in numerous other companies, including Unitas, Damas and Hoga.

Auguste Reymond SA (ARSA) was also one of the few companies to integrate directly into ASUAG when the watchmaking truts were created to save Swiss watchmaking in the early 1930s.

Unitas, bought by Auguste Reymond in 1926, will become part of Ebauches SA to supply the famous Unitas ébauches, but will continue as a watch brand with ARSA.
