Sélection watches originate from C. Meyer-Graber founded in La Chaux-de-Fonds in 1899 [1]. It was a manufacturer of economical Roskopf watches, sold under various brand names such as Horoscope, Mandolina or Sélection.
In 1907, Constant Meyer-Graber took over W. Rosskopf & Co, another producer of Roskopf watches in La Chaux-de-Fonds [2].

Between 1917 and 1921, Constant Meyer-Gruber was briefly associated with Aurèle Boichat et Cie, Multa watches [3].
Constant Meyer-Graber died in 1929 and the Sélection company was taken over by Léopold Vittori, Fabrique de Montres Dolmy [4].
