Alcide Racheter and Léon Bessire set up a watchmaking factory in Geneva in 1930, under the name A. Racheter & Co [1].

In 1937, Alcide Racheter remained alone and the factory became Racheter Acacia Watch Co. but that same year Louis Leuba took control of the company [2].

In 1940, the company became Acacia SA Fabrique d'Horlogerie, and Henry-Auguste Favre joined the board of directors [3]. Acacia is a generalist factory producing all kinds of watches, in particular water-resistant watches and chronographs.

In 1944, Louis Leuba also joined the Board of Directors, and the company became Compagnie des Montres Favre-Leuba [4].

The Acacia brand is no longer used.
