Ed. Kummer was a major manufacturer of Roskopf watches and was one of the few factories to be taken over by ASUAG during the creation of the Swiss watch trusts. With the quartz crisis, the company became independent again and took the name Atlantic.
Gallet is a special case among Swiss watch manufacturers. It was essentially a trading company, buying watches from various manufacturers in the La Chaux-de-Fonds region and marketing them abroad. But the company also made a name for itself in the field of chronographs and counters, particularly in the USA.
This American-Swiss manufacturer from the very early 20th century produced high quality watches, and created the Avia brand, taken over much later by Degoumois & Cie.
