A legendary figure in 19th-century Swiss watchmaking, Henry Moser established a watch factory in Le Locle that bears his name. Several generations of the family followed in the 20th century to ensure the company's continuity, producing some remarkable watches such as the Saltofix with its jumping seconds.

The brand still exists today after being relaunched in 2005.
