- Roamer automatic watch 1933

In 1933, Roamer patented [1] an automatic pendulum winding system: a small weight fixed by a pin to one side of the case moves with the wrist and winds the movement. This solution had no future for the Solothurn manufacturer, which remained faithful to hand-wound calibers until the early 1950s.

- waterproof keyless watches

Based on patents by the famous engineer Ernest Morf [2], Roamer keyless waterproof watches were a great success from 1941 onwards.

No tools were needed to open or close the case.

1943

1947

- Roamer Junior

1947

This is a medium-sized watch for teenagers. It was offered in Switzerland at the attractive price of 44 Fr. By comparison, a hand-wound steel Universal watch cost 144 Fr. at the same time.

- Roamer automatique

1951

Roamer's first automatic rotor watches were launched in 1951 and featured the caliber 410-411 with 17 jewels.

In 1958, Roamer launched a new automatic movement with 21 jewels called Rotopower.

1958

- Roamer Alarm

This is an alarm watch with Manufacture caliber 24-427 with double barrel. Launched in 1954, it operates as follows:

- the crown winds the movement in one direction (left) and the alarm in the other (right)

- the crown in the intermediate position sets the alarm.

- the crown is pulled out to set the time.

- the chime is interrupted, or silenced, by pressing the push-button at 2 o'clock.

- Roamer calendar

In the early 1950s, Roamer had a pointer-type calendar caliber. To modernize its range, Roamer launched a hand-wound watch with date window in 1957. Initially with small seconds, it was offered with center seconds the following year. The date change required a round-trip from the crown.

- Roamer L

The Roamer L is a  left-handed watch with 9 o'clock crown launched in 1960. It was available in manual-winding and automatic versions.

- Roamer Stingray

1968

1970

This automatic date watch, launched in 1966, comes in several versions. The standard model has a square-cambered case, and the diving model, Stingray S, has a rotating bezel under the glass.

- Roamer Red Sea

This is the square version of the standard Stingray model.

- Roamer Mustang

Launched in 1967, this is a variant of the Stingray with a more modern case. This model was available with an electronic caliber with spiral balance and in a round version.

- Stingray Chronographs

Several Stingray waterproof chronographs were launched. The first in 1968, for the Olympic Games in Mexico City, and two others the following year: the C+D, a diving model with rotating bezel, and the second J+T (Jet Time), with 24-hour rotating bezel.

- Roamer Rockshell

This is a range of water-resistant models, characterized by their mineral glass. There was also a version with an electronic caliber.
